Fill it out in full and post it to us at the address below:

HRUC Admissions, Uxbridge Campus, Park Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1NQ.

We will confirm when we have received your application form and will contact you to arrange your interview.

Click the white 'Enquire' button on the course page. Create your account if you have not already done so and you can log back in at any time (using the Learner Hub link in the footer of the website) to see your enquiry details. We will be in touch with you within two working days of your enquiry being submitted. Once you are ready to apply make sure you come back to the relevant course page and click the ‘Apply Now’ button. 

If you would like to talk to someone about your options, our information, advice and guidance team can give you free advice and guidance. Our specialist staff can also advise you if you have qualifications that are from outside the UK and you would like to find out how they can help you study at our West London IoT.

Once you have completed your application you will receive a confirmation email from us.

You will also be able to upload an ID photo that will be used for your student ID. Guidance on what type of photos are acceptable is in the full application or your home Learner Hub account.

Following your confirmation email, if you have booked an interview at the time of your application you will receive a further email from us with your interview details, inviting you to the college for an interview.

Depending on the course you have applied for, you will either

• be asked to attend an interview/trial/assessment and we will be in touch to arrange a date/time
• or if there is a fee to be paid, you will be immediately directed to pay for your course through the Flywire portal (our third party payment provider). They will confirm your payment via email which includes a link to track your payment.

This is an informal discussion to find out if you are suitable for the course and a chance for you to ask any questions about the course and the IoT.

You will be asked about your favourite subjects at school/college, your hobbies and interests and your plans for the future.

Please bring along your progress file or Record of Achievement, if you have one. It is also an opportunity for you to tell us about any additional help you may need or if you have any disabilities.

If your interview is successful, you will receive a conditional offer. This means that as long as you meet the entry requirements for the course and attend your allotted enrolment date, then you will secure your place on your course of choice.

If you are not made an offer at your interview, we will discuss alternative options with you and if you are interested in a different course, we will arrange an interview for you with that course.

We do not have an official closing date for applications, but we advise that you apply as early as possible during the academic year to secure your place on the course you want to study.

Enrolment is the final stage of the application process and will take place from GCSE results day onwards.

During your Enrolment session, we add your details to the system to make you an official student and finalising your place at the IoT.

Details about enrolment will be sent to you via email in late-July/early-August. 

Once you have been into the relevant College to complete your enrolment you will be given your start date.

Applying for an Apprenticeship is a little different to applying for A Levels or a vocational course. Apprenticeships are jobs with training and qualifications, so rather than applying for the course, you apply for the job. You can find out more about apprenticeships and apply for vacancies on our HRUC website.

You can apply for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSAs) to cover some of the extra costs you have because of a mental health problem, long term illness or any other disability.

You can get the allowances on top of your other student finance. You will not need to repay DSAs.
